Dot Matrix is a black lager, a.k.a. Schwarzbier. This particular recipe was developed when we were homebrewing years ago, and we always brewed with during the winter months as a nice alternative for the (rare) times when we weren’t feelings like drinking a stout. Presented with an opaque, super dark aesthetic, the smooth palate offers a slightly roasted, light caramel flavor. The finish is a crisp dryness with hints of malt, toffee, and chocolate.
